Who we are
Voyara operates this website. [Add registered company name, address and the contact for privacy questions.]
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number and a securely hashed password.
- Bookings and travellers: the trip, dates and prices, and details of each traveller that the trip needs: name, and where required category, date of birth, nationality, dietary or accessibility needs. We do not ask for passport numbers or medical records.
- Payments: amounts, methods, references and status. Card details are handled by the payment provider and are not stored by us. M-Pesa confirmation codes and any proof of payment you upload are kept to verify the payment.
- Messages and enquiries: what you send through the contact form, trip-planning form, support chat and email.
- Newsletter: your email address and your consent, if you subscribe.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and security events, used to keep the site secure and prevent abuse. Essential cookies keep you signed in and protect forms.
Why we use it
To create and manage your account, process bookings and payments, provide trip documents and reminders, answer your questions, keep the service secure and meet legal and accounting obligations. We send marketing email only if you have asked for it, and you can stop it at any time.
Who receives it
Payment providers (to take and verify payments), our email delivery provider (to send messages), our hosting provider, and suppliers who need traveller details to deliver your trip, such as lodges and drivers. [List the actual processors.] We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
[State retention periods for accounts, bookings, financial records, enquiries and newsletter data.]
